"Iraq isn't even in our part of the world, it is in theirs! Our soldiers are dying to provide freedom and democracy in their part of the world, and the Spanish are running for the exits." Maybe that's the problem. Perhaps neither Iraq or Spain has heard that we are in there to protect freedom. They both may still believe that we are in there to get WMD. Hell, we only decided on the fredom crap for Iraq a few months after the invasion. How could we expect them to know that that giving Iraq freedom is the real reason.
