Thanks for the new link which I'll add to the header. Ohio was settled by Revolutionary War veterans, and, I'm told, possibly by Hessians given a land grant for changing sides.

Hi Snow...I see you made it here! This is going to be a fun place, I know. I didn't know about the "heritagepursuit.com" site either...And have several counties to search for various lines who went through or ended up in Ohio.

Ohio is known as the "Crossroads" of the country because so many of our ancestors came through here on their way West (and South, and North)...

Sounds like you have a very early one--1818!
