Sorry for the delayed response. Regarding the post that kicked off the heated debate, I think that the reply by ruff describing what he found here helps explain why it turned out the way it did. ruff said, "I see it has a nice mix of paranoia and bigotry." What did you expect? "I'm pretty sure I shouldn't ask, but what does "OOF" mean?" 'OOF' is a term I used to show mild shock, surprise, or disgust, etc. It was sort of like what someone would sound like if they got punched in the gut - OOF! I used the term often enough to get nicknamed OOFster - OOF man, etc., by folks on a few threads. FWIW, I haven't used the term recently but the nickname persists.
