In an extended sense, a person who is intolerant of opinions which conflict with his own, as in politics or morals; one obstinately and blindly devoted to his own church, party, belief, or opinion. dictionary.reference.com I think that someone who argues that a civil war is required to "clear the air" is someone who is so intolerant of the "other side" that he sees killing as the only mechanism to settle differences. Therefore I think that besides being an immature approach to dealing with problems, it is also bigoted.
