Israel's real fear is that Vanunu will underscore that it is Israel, not the Arab nations, which possesses weapons of mass destruction, at a time when Israel is openly grabbing more Arab lands and carrying out assassinations (with high collateral damage). Israel's grab of lands (and your tax money) is based in pretending that Israel is helpless before the "Arab threat", but that victim-myth is rapidly dissolving as Israel stands revealed as the gravest threat to world peace.

I watched the 60 Minutes Interview. I wonder how Tenet can still be CIA Director after so many bad calls. I still can't understand the passion of Cheney and Bush to attack Iraq. Their lack of a plan for post-war Iraq was apparently based on the naive assumption there would be no resistance.
