TW, the world has always been turned upside down, and inside out. It's part of the process. Laminar flow is nice, but often enough, the energy levels and speeds get higher and we go over Reynold's Number and the world goes turbulent again for a time.

Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream.

Plus ca change,

Mqurice

PS: Thanks. I'm glad you enjoy my rants. It makes it all worthwhile. If only I could get Yiwu to realize what pearls [of wisdom] are being cast before her ... ah, bliss. We just have to accept, as she says, that each adult must make up their own minds and some souls will remain lost, out of reach and beyond rescue.

[I realize Jay thinks my soul is lost, but that's another story]

So far the bodies of 300,000 innocent Iraqis, men and women, old and young, even little children, have been dug up from mass graves where they were put by Saddam, and we are still digging. What is happening in Iraq today is far less wrong than that.
