Peter

I'm in ERHC pretty deep.

If anyone has not taken a look at this yet, take a few minutes to do some DD. Peter has listed some good summary posts on Ragingbull.

In a nutshell, ERHC has preferential oil rights in the Gulf of Guinea off western Africa due to early exploration activities and a politically connected African billionaire who owns a large chunk of the company. There is a huge amount of untapped light sweet crude there. Exxon and Chevron are bidding for blocks. The US is looking at building a military base for protection of the area, and you know how this administration likes its oil.

Awards are expected this week during a conference.
