Woodward said that Powell stated that Cheney had an unhealthy obsession with linking Iraq and Al Qaeda.

This seemed so obvious to those of us on the outside...and we posted it here on SI. All to the chagrin of the neocons who defended the administration to the end.

What are they going to do now that they know how the administration has conducted the very important business of the nation?

Another thing that gets to me is the way that the republicans are criticizing Clinton for making the war on terror a law enforcement issue, but Woodward's books says that that is exactly how the Bush administration was planning on fighting terror before 9-11.

This while Bush does absolutely nothing about terrorists in our country...goes on a world record long vacation while Tenet's hair was on fire. The memo says that 70...read seventy domestic terror case investigations were on going. My question to Bush is, did you even bother to ask what the investigations were about? How about just one of the cases?

If I were president I would have asked for a case summary for everyone of the actions.
