Updated: 4:02 p.m. ET April 18, 2004NEW YORK - The average retail price for a gallon of regular gasoline in the United States has hit a record $1.80, the U.S. motorists group AAA said over the weekend.

* Now we know Cheney-Bush and the saudis are like peas in a pod. The Saudis get our intel before Powell does. They fix the oil prices to match the political season. It's sky high now and the plan is to lower them in Spetember then raise them again if Bush wins. He won't win.
