I see her death as a tragic accident, aggravated by her own behavior. Much like that young woman who fell out of a tree in Oregon, thinking that she was somehow, by taking up residence in it, protecting a forest that had already been through a laborious environmental study to determine what should be done with it.

I'm curious why the site Electronic Intifada says nothing about the PA's "targeted killing" of innocent people on buses and in cafes, yet screams at the "targeted killing" of Yassin who is quoted as saying, amongst other things, "Make no mistake, there will be no peace as long as there is a Zionist-Jewish state. Our holy goal is to liberate all of Palestine, and if the Jews do not go, they will die. All of Palestine is Islamic land -- every inch."
