imo.. specter/toomey race is a right to life fight vs pro-choice. I believe they want Specter out of office and not get the chairmanship even if it means they lose pa senate race.

Primary will be who can get out the vote. How strong the organizations of these two are in getting the voters out.

toomey home town paper endorses Specter. Allentown area paper Morning Call in leHigh Valley toomey country came out for Specter. Paper has a large circulation.

Turnout expected in primary is 25/35%. Specter concerned about low turnout. He lost a race in 1973 in Philly due to very low turnout.
