Iraq is part of a strategy to clean up the region, which is a breeding ground for terrorists. Whether it was involved in 9/11 is irrelevant. It is was the regime with the most destabilizing regional ambitions, and the means to pursue them at its leisure. It funded terrorists. There is ample evidence of an involvement with Al Qaida, just not of complicity in 9/11. It retained the research, infrastructure, and production capacity to recreate WMDs. It was tying up too many resources just to contain it.......
