What happened to those grand strategist here calling for confluence of Shiites and Sunnis and great uprising starting form Fullajah taking in Najaf and the foresight they had since last year that is bound to happen, these problems are short term they would come but they would be addressed. Look at this another example of voodoo statistics by Carl.... <I know the military is careful about who they give a gun to, but if those 3000 people were randomly selected from the American population, about 21 of them would be in prison. The numbers are worse for men of military age. Our prison rate for males between 20 and 24 is 1458 per 100K, and for males between 25 and 29 it's 1867 per 100K. So with 3000 random American males between the ages of 20 and 29, you'd expect to have about 50 of them in prison. Now I know that everyone in prison didn't get there for murder, but the situation in a war zone does tend to bring out the worst in people, and you only need one guy to make the headlines on Al Jazeera.> People take pride in this kind of crap logic, I am bewildered by this 'voodoo statistics,’ you imply that out of 3000 males between age 20 and 29, 50 would be in jail however you missed totally one point that those who enter army are part of a specialized group trained for war and this is their job, they cannot form a part of random selection, to check behavioral problems within this ‘specialized group’ if you want to prove that how probable it is that they can be petty criminals or trigger happy murderers you get to see that within ex service man and those present serving 'Marines' how many end up in jail! The chances of 50 amongst 3000 male US doctors between age of 20 and 29 in jail may be near to 1 so are chances of elisted 'Marine' an elite nice group they are far more responsible and they are not trigger happy bunch. Defending American soldiers in face of massive assault of American liberal bunch was not my idea of this thread, but God is my witness I feel so proud to put the record straight, my salute to al those who lay their lives for cause that they may not appreciate that much as well all do. To win freedom for others by few when all those who benefit are not recognizing looks like wasted effort but all great changes within Islamic world wil have to be achieved in this manner.
