Those people that think we are gaining favor with the local populance by respecting their religious things IMHO are wrong. We bombed and blasted the shit out of them as we advanced on Baghdad and we were welcomed as conquering heroes by the populance. Now, we are just hanging on becaming a damn nuisance for them as well. I believe EVEN the Iraqi's could accept SHOCK AND AWE more then this but even more importantly we GOT to get security in that country NOW not 10 years from now. The ONLY way its gonna happen is if we treat this as total all out war. jdn

If the shoe were on the other foot you can be sure they would follow us right into any church we went into. That's the difference between them and us. We won't hide behind our religious beliefs and churches/whatever.

I recall an incident, last year, I believe, where Muslim terrorists threw hand grenades through the windows of a girls Christian school, killing and maiming many. Somewhere in the ME. What a wonderful religion is Islam, and not a peep out of the millions here in the US, except to complain of the President's Israel/Palestinian policy. Even Slick tried to help the Muslims in Boznia/Kosovo and all we got was more terror.
