Gore's #1 issue was the economy and the Oil Cartel did their part to depress that and help throw us into a recession. The energy crisis of 2000-2001 certainly had a depressing effect on the economy. Me-thinks it was all deliberate and orchetrated, probably around the person of Dick Cheney. Lay and Bandar would have been involved too, probably James Baker and Bush Sr. Lay knows too much me-thinks so they're avoiding him for now.
