McCain has already stood up to Rove & Company more than any republican, and more than many democrats.

His political career will be over after his next term as senator, but he should be remembered as a great public servant who sacrificed a great deal for his country.

Can't say I blame him for not wanting to be vice-president, it's a lousy job.
