The easy way of getting rid of idiotic lawsuits is to make the looser liable for the court costs of the winner. They do it in Britain I believe.

Of course it should be limited. We couldn't have fishermen going up against Exxon if it was totally one to one.

The loosers liability for the court costs of the winner should be limited to what the looser spent on court costs.

In other words if you sued Exxon and spent $10,000 on lawyers fees, and they won then you'd be liable only for $10,000 of their court costs.
