Oh, no, money doesn't make you a better person, in fact, Jesus said it's easier for a poor person to get into heaven than a rich person. But I expect I'll be a lot poorer when I am 80 or 85, which is when people in my family tend to die, so no reason to strive for poverty just yet.

Was the world a better place when Iraq was being run by Saddam Hussein? I know he had his followers.

And an awful lot of Islamists believe the world is a better place because Osama bin Laden is around, striving to impose the Ummah on all of us. If that's your idea of a bright future, I suppose we're raining on your parade.

If you're a certain type of Mexican, you probably dream of reconquering California, Texas, etc.
