Oh, I don't think anybody "blindly supports" the war in Iraq. Nobody really likes war, except maybe mythological fat capitalists dressed in top hats, smoking fat cigars and giving each other secret handshakes, or maybe mythological judeofascist zionists who secretly run the world.

No, we'd all be better off if the war was over, and there was a credible Iraqi government in control, except that the Islamists - both Sunni and Shia - want religious control, and we've promised the Iraqi people that they will have secular control, while the Ba'athists want to reimpose Ba'athism, and we've promised them democracy.

So, nothing else to do but keep on keeping on.
