It is leftist hogwash, when even at Europe's lowest period the Europeans were maintaining culture, governments and social development, including the Christian Church.

Surely the Dark Ages were a low point in European cultural progress, but even during this low point Europe was able to rely upon the cultural increase that had occurred long before Islam had been hatched in hell. To therefore call these people "barbarians" who were 'pissing in their pants,' with their 'fingers up their asses' is just demonstrable lunacy. Even the Germanic tribal people of the northern regions were being influenced by highly developed European culture, especially as it manifested itself in the Christian Church.

Even when societies experience upheaval as was the case during the Dark Ages, European culture, far superior to that of Islam, still existed. It was for that reason that after the passing of the Dark Ages, Europe regained its former lead in the world and holds it even today. That is why, as I have tried to teach your dumb ass, you speak English!

Now here is the point: Byzantine culture, even that which was found by the Islamic destroyers, did not just spring out of thin air. It heavily consisted of European culture exported to it via Rome. So even here this "barbaric Europe/noble Islam" lunacy of yours is shown to be ridiculous. You've latched onto a minor hiccup in European history to characterize the European at the time of the Islamic conquest when the fact is, those Europeans had access to culture by far excelling anything Islam has ever been able to produce. They later exploited that access and now - you speak English.
