Kerry voted for the 87 billion on the Biden-Kerry amendment which you may remember was their attempt to make the very wealthy give up part of their tax cuts to pay for the war. Kerry-Biden also sought to make part of the 87 billion a loan to Iraq in exchange for future oil but the oil-hog Bushies nixed it protecting the fat cats once again. That vote had nothing to do with troop safety BTW. So yes, Kerry told the truth here. He voted yes then no, dependong in whether the 87 was not paid for a foreign welfare or not. You should be backing Biden-Kerry for this smart move not criticizing. Bush gave away about 20 billion to the Iraqis which won't be paid back. In fact much of it will be stolen.
