When I was in Denver I had a house with a basement and liked it, but I've never seen a basement in Texas. I do have a friend that built a two story house into the side of a hill at the lake. The front door enters the upstairs and the backdoors exit the downstairs. The outside is sandstone and the interior is all tongue and groove paneling. He spent a bundle on it. Unfortunately he sold it last year. Me and the gang weren't very happy about him selling. The people he sold it to got an awesome lake house. * * *
