<<Haven't they had the best polling record so far?>>

I'm sure Zogby has blown as many poles as the next group <g>

Yes, ZOGBY has been very accurate in his polling over the years. It is his livelihood after all. He makes sure he's as accurate as possible. The election is still 6 months away, these polls will see-saw. There are so many variables. Obviously Bush has blown the trust issue with the WMDs lies and other bafoonery, but noone seems to care. The American people want to be lied to, as long as they feel like it's being done in their interest (how screwy is that?). The two big issues will be the war and economy. I'd think the war will have straigtened itself out in 6 months or Bush is a goner for sure. I don't know about the economy, even if it improves, most people won't be feeling it this fall. It might be Bush's downfall.

The polls jump back and forth so unfortunately it's probably tied 50-50. That means 50% of the country are either duped or asleep, the ones who think Cheney-Bush quality leaders. All this means is we all have to get to work to wake people up. GOP moderates especially should not be pulling the lever for Bush this time. Their party is the one which has been hijacked by extremists.
