I saw them earlier and they are awesome. Had an air show here where my yard was the turn around point. I thanked God, Christ, Budda and Allah those planes weren't looking for me. Damn they show up sudden.

My. My heart beats fast when I see that sort of thing. I've seen almost all of these planes in flight at some point, some quite a number of times. Never gets old. I have always loved the A-10. That plane is awesome, a veritable flying gun. Too bad the military retired it. Still an awesome aircraft. Just like the looks of the Raptor.That vector thrust stuff just has to allow a pilot to kick butt anytime he wants to. Had I a few other lives to live, I'd be a fighter in this plane. But my all-time favorite fighter is not pictured here. It is the greatest fighter plane ever built, with the arguable exception of the P-51. Name that plane! (grin)
