Did you hear about the case in Quebec where a pimp who specialized in providing young children to special clients had his phone tapped. In conversation with another friend, they mentioned a female lawyer who was providing minors to some judges. Apparently she had these judges by the balls and reminded them of what she had on them. In return, her clients got very special treatment. Despite the uproar by some citizens of Quebec City, the media downplayed the story and the cops didn't even bother pursuing the investigation. There certainly is a group of elite pricks in this country.

Did a bunch of ours sneak across the border? :-) Hey, you can deport them, you know. Make them serve their time first, though, since we won't be able to charge them. :-)

Hmmmmm, let's see now....... ....a government that steals hundreds of millions from taxpayers......a national police force that feeds millions to friends of the government......a PM that was appointed, in part, by organized crime activity......shakedown operations by the largest municipal police force in the country.....a govt move to legitimize the illicit drug industry......a well fed and VERY financially secure oversized force of compliance enforcers.......and you thought there wasn't a banana republic in the G7

There are plenty of decent politicians in Canada. And plenty of crooks, criminals and jackasses. Don't like the system? Get involved and stop complaining. Pick a party that most closely maps on to your views and support it. Join a constituency association. Volunteer. Work on a candidate nomination committee. Or not.
