Why Zapatero didn't wait until June to pull out, as he had said earlier 6 weeks is till about the 1st of June...so he decided not to stay for the last 4 weeks to make his point. His point is that he is a Socialist and is afraid. He may be more afraid of the terrorists who have already hit Spain. Maybe he thinks they will hit again. Maybe he thinks that the 1300 peacekeepers from Spain are needed at home. Who knows, they might be. Spain is closer to the Middle East confusion than they realize. Sad.
