I don't care about their hearts and minds, nor even getting them by the balls.

It's their country, we won't be there forever. At some point, soon, and I think June 30 may well be the date, we're going to dump it in their laps and say, "your turn."

I doubt it, there is a lot to overcome. We went to war with them in 1991, enforced sanctions against them for ten years, then went to war against them again and occupied their country.

That's not the sort of thing that engenders warm cuddly feelings.
