Some of the insurgents are patriots, others are opportunists, and still others are fanatics. Regardless of how they are characterized, there is no reason that they should be our enemies, no reason why they should be killing our troops or our troops should be killing them. We have enough on our plate battling islamic terrorism. The term "cut and run" is very misleading. There is no question our military can defeat anything thrown at them in Iraq. If we were to leave, it would be because it is not in the best interests of the United States to stay, not because we couldn't accomplish military objectives.
