I'd have to say that interest rates won't be able to go up for a very long time now. North America has sucked too many of its citizens into massive debt levels.
To raise rates much in the near future would be catastrophic for many.
IMO , they may go up a bit to try to curb some of these rediculous real estate prices but that would have to be it.
Anything else would cause way too much despair.

I couldn't believe the real estate prices in Mexico.
Stable or not, its third world living once you walk out of your front gate.
When prices drop by at least half, and they pick up some of the garbage maybe I'll think about it.

keepin it simple and debt free.
