I have always believed that Bush II has an oedipal complex, and his determination to conquer Iraq can be attributed to a desire to outdo his father.

This was probably acerbated by his one-time status as the black sheep of the family. Remember, he once challenged his father to a fistfight on the streets of Georgetown.

He talked with other advisors that were involved in the first war with Iraq. No, I do not find it insane, I find it unusual from my own perspective,( from a family viewpoint) but if he received enough advice from others involved, I do not know how much more would have been gained. Do you?
