Depending on the Dam, I'm sure there might be technical problems.

Our little town just bought a dam from a local factory that used to use it for power way back when. It was costing them so much to take care of it that they sold it to the town for one dollar. The town with the help of state and fed money repaired the dam (crew from Alabama did the job)and built a damn nice park around it.

Sometime the people we vote for can get things right. The dam/park certainly put a feather in their cap!
