His capture would have been vital in stamping out the Al Qaeda terror network after the bombing of the USS Cole. However, at this point in history, his death or capture now will barely satisfy the need for justice -- barely impact the worldwide franchise of terror, as the students and lieutenants of Osama Bin Laden plan and plot in the shadows.

This article is several cuts above many of your postings, and deserves a response. Al Qaeda changed little from the USS Cole incident on October 12, 2000 to the 9-11 Twin Tower attack. But as someone who knows far more about terrorism than either of us, Richard Clarke has said, since 9-11 Al Qaeda has morphed. That's one of the reasons Iraq is such a disaster. Instead of pursuing Al Qaeda when it was most vulnerable, and OBL was an international pariah, this Admin invaded Iraq and turned OBL into a Muslim prophet.
