Orca: How do you feel about voting in Florida in the 2002 gubernatorial primary? I recall there was talk that the democratic establishment created problems in certain counties in which Janet Reno had strong support. I belive the issue was that the democratic party establishment could not abide a Reno vs. Jeb Bush match-up, because McBride was viewed as having a better chance of beating Jeb Bush. evote.com

You can bet your ass that had it gone the other way Al Gore and the rest of the democrats would have been screaming "no fair" for 4 years. <<The US Supremes overturned the Florida Supremes on the recount>> They stopped the Florida Supremes from making rules on the fly. There was a period of time that votes could be counted and the Florida Supreme court (AKA liberal activists) tried to create new rules on the fly to benefit Gore.
