The Democrats did not control both houses of Congress and the Presidency in the 1980s like the Republicans do today.

In the 80's I wasn't paying attention. Now I am. I believe McCain when he says this is the worst and most corrupt congress and administration ever when it comes to wasteful selfish pork barrel spending. And remember, it's OUR money and all on the credit card.
