step 3: Wilshire 5k -lower lows printed ttrader.com This chart completes my 'as-it-happens' illustration of what a 1-2-3 reversal looks like, as described on page 90 of Dr. Elder's book Trading for a Living. This method can be used in all time frames, and has been absolutely instrumental in my trading. The only issues worth owning at this point IMO are special situation stocks (microcaps w/ a compelling story, specifically those that are security related) and miners/commodities (my belief is that the fed is behind the curve re inflation.. still do not subscribe to deflation theory).
