I don't "get it" because they are extreme and false statements. I don't think any reasonable person dispationally looking at the facts could call something like "Bush said that Iraq would blow up American cities in a matter of months" true or moderate. How the hell do you expect me to remember everything that was posted over a three week period; then, followed by a two week gap. Sorry, Tim, but I don't have the time to refresh my memory every time you post. I don't expect you to remember even if it would be nice if you did. I would just expect that if you don't remember you don't treat some vague regulation as if it was certain, or make personal attacks based on things that you don't even remember. On those rare times when you criticize Bush, they are mild......a slap on the hand comes to mind. So please, he may not be your dream candidate but you will defend him forever. If Clinton was facing the kind of attack that some people have made hear I would defend him. In fact I have defended him against a couple of similar extreme statements that I consider false like the claim that he raped Monica, or the claim that he had a whole bunch of people killed to avoid exposore of illegal activities. You have never once said Iraq is a mess. I've said it at least a half dozen times on SI. Early on, once or twice you claimed that you weren't sure about going to war. But then later, you retracted that position and said you thought the war was the right move. Its not that I'm sure it was the right move, I just don't think it was a morally wrong move, nor do I think it will be a disaster (except in the sense that all wars are horrible things). I also think that at this point we should see it through. Tim, you're crying over milk that wasn't spilt. You "spill milk" like that all the time. Tim
