Impeachment is the process, not the result. The only other president to have been impeached was Andrew Johnson and he too was *not* removed from office.

Non. The House votes articles of impeachment.

Then you have a trial in the Senate.

Upon conviction in the Senate, you are removed from office.

Bill Clinton was impeached.

He just wasn't convicted and removed from office.
