John McCain was on a local talk show today and he said that Pork Barrel give aways were at the highest level he has ever seen.

He sited an example of a bridge in Alaska that is being built to the tune of millions from an area where the population is small to an island where no one lives. It's senseless but it's putting millions in someone's wallet.
