Bush spend 50 million in one month to smear Kerry with lying ads. 50 million is what they used to spend on an entire campaign from start to finish. Fortunately the good people behind Kerry are fighting back, but this is the grossest sleazy TV campaign we have ever seen, engineered by the guy who thought up the Taco Bell Chihuahua ads. In other words, anything goes and the truth be damned.

We should really have a truth in advertising law pertaining to political ads too. This is ridiculous. Turns our democracy into a sleazy low-life mud-fest where real debate on issues gets lost.
