Interesting analysis but very disturbing. You sort of ruined my day which started with the death of 20 iraqi schoolkids. I am sickened by all of this but as i told my son that my question yesterday becomes moot. At some point f**k collateral damage and kill all the bad guys. I will push the button and after our victory they can try me for war crimes. Mike

Holy War in Europe

Thanks for the pointer. - Gerecht is dramatizing.

Europe may be competitive with the worst breeding grounds in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.

This is an exaggeration. And police activities have become more thorough than before 9-11:

Suspects are arrested all over Europe.

A factual error of Gerecht:

most prominently, the foreign minister, Dominique de Villepin

de Villepin is no longer the French foreign minister; his successor is Michel Barnier.
