There are some Arkansas cops whom the rightwing has used to try and slander Clinton. Obviously those southern cops hate Clinton. Rightwing oil billionaires like Koch were paying for these "stories" and whatever smoking bimbos they could find. I have no doubt that CLinton screwed around with women, in fact I knew it ever since Gennnifer Flowers came forward, but all the rest of the drug-dealing murder and rape is pure BS. Ken Starr spent more money and time than any investigation in history going through Clinton's life with a fine-toothed comb. The Clintons were cleared of ALL charges. The sex lie was the one thing they caught him on. I ask the question, what the hell was Starr doing in Clinton's bedroom to begin with? It's called character assassination. I'm sure Bush has sex, abortion and cocaine secrets too and if you investigated enough you'd find that too, then he'd deny it and be lying. The GOP would be howling foul if anyone tried to investigate Bush's sex and drug past.

The smear campaign against Clinton was very expensive, secret and well-organized. Some people make fun of Hillary saying there was a "vast rightwing conspiracy" but she wasn't lying. Secret private companies like Koch Industries funneled money through subsidiaries into the pockets of anyone who could find dirt on Clinton, or even make it up and make it look good. Everything was either exaggerated or fabricated, and cases were brought against Clinton that he could not respond to without looking bad. The old "do you still beat your wife" questions. Either answer incriminates you. Just a big dirty trick against perhaps the most successful and popular president in history. Clinton scared them because of his economic success and charisma. He had one achilles heel and they went for it like jackals.
