I heard a talking head yesterday say how calm things were in southern Iraq, meaning Basra...
That calm didn't last long>

Suicide bombers kill 68 in southern Iraq
By Abdel-Razzak Hameed

BASRA, Iraq (Reuters) - Suicide bombers killed 68 people, among them 17 children incinerated in two minibuses on their way to school, in coordinated strikes on police stations in Iraq's mainly Shi'ite city of Basra on Wednesday.

Basra mayor Wael Abdul-Hafeez accused Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda network of being behind the morning rush-hour blasts that shattered months of relative calm in the southern city.

Near-simultaneous vehicle explosions hit three police stations in Basra and a police academy in Zubair, a mainly Sunni town 25 km further south.

"All four attacks seem to have been carried out by suicide bombers," said a British Defence Ministry spokeswoman in Basra, which is in Britain's sector of responsibility in the U.S.-led force in Iraq.

People have to rise up, vote, and overthrow the batch
of near criminals we have now in this administration.

They are telling you what they are going to do people - telegraphing it. Anyone who votes for Bush should expect his son or daughter to be drafted if of age, and if they decide to.

If you really think that their life is worth this Bullsh*t
that Bush is dishing out - then go ahead and vote for them.

I do believe that some sheep here would follow Bush over the cliff, if given half a chance!

If Bush is re-elected, we are going down a path in the US where we will have two other countries as friends out of 200: England and Israel - and England is wavering (the Blair govt.)

Forget winning Iraqi hearts and minds - what about a goal for the US as not becoming the pariah of the world in the next 4 years??

The polls I have read this morn on the topic indicate that more people are for it than against it.
