Yup. Tejek's hatred of his opponents makes him easily defeated. Rather than attack his opponents specific positions squarely, he instead falsely deprecates the opponent while idealizing and otherwise falsely elevating the opponents of his opponents. What you have done here is smashed the second part of his approach, thereby bringing down the entire argument. It is unquestionably true that the murder of innocent people is no way for anyone to gain a collaborating state with their enemy.
