Please do not put words into my mouth.

Show me where I've misquoted you. You've implied, if not ourright stated, that any peace process is hopeless because no moderates have any negotiating power in the PA.

I believe there is hope, if only Sharon quits giving ammunition to fanatics preaching Israel's destruction in the mosques because they continue to see Sharon trying to maintain settlements that have nothing to do with "smoothing" out the borders for security reasons, but rather to usurp land the Palestinians believe belong to them..

And it's certainly hard to refute such claims when its so obvious and then backed up by Bush's utterings..

Bush did lose sight of the bigger challenge, IMO. He's given a wonderful gift to those religious fanatics preaching total war in Palestinian mosques. And he's invited the likelihood that any Palestinian state will become the front line for militants throughout the region to conduct their attacks against Israel for years to come..

Certainly those settlements will be attacked. And that will require the IDF to constantly intervene and invade Palestine.
