What ever happened to that great idea?!? That was conservative rhetoric that I could agree with. Too bad it turned out to be just emtpy rhetoric and now that the GOP controls the House, Senate and White House, we're running $500 Billion deficits. Talk about fiscal irresponsibility. I guess I wouldn't have such a problem with it if that money was actually being spent here in the U.S. making our country a better place to live, instead of seeing it pissed away in the Middle East for god knows what convoluted reasoning. Republicans will never again be associated with fiscal responsibility in my lifetime, not with $500 Billion deficitis hanging around their necks.
