Your observation about pakistan is not without basis. Still whenever you point to a problem you should also suggest a viable alternative and I have not seen you suggesting one yet

Yes, an Stalin was once in the good books of the U.S., as was Mao. Are you trying to say that the United States should not have supported and aided the Soviet Union during the Second World War? Or are you trying to say, that an ally should be an ally forever - even a Stalin?
