hazarding a guess - perhaps not. QCOM at its present a/h quote opens well within the range of the last couple weeks; EBAY would open above and in the clear barely... but not a massive gap up. Just enough for a big dark cloud cover to form at the end of a really long run on the monthly chart (its been in an upswing on the monthly since 02 after all).

Not saying it has to happen that way but given where their prices are, it could.

Futures more or less unmoved at this point.

Maybe the real tell is that the NYSE internals never really improved all day, not to the extend that the Nasdaq internals did anyway. Felt like "waiting for the other shoe to drop" today.
