Gloop, Those escalating war costs and ever increasing budget deficits will get the economy in trouble. If we do get in trouble, we lack fiscal and monetary flexibility to get out of trouble. We can't count on any more fiscal or monetary stimulus.

It took us 10+ years or recessions to pay off the Vietnam War. 55,000 Americans died and ten times that amount were wounded or badly damaged. War without dire reason is wrong. Cheney-Bush led us into war with lies and are now profiting from it while the rest of us pay.
