Studies on people who fight on the net would seem to support me. If Timothy had been a web addict he might have found himself a larger coterie of little friends, and done an even more effective job. You can't use one anecdote to prove a point (but you can try :-) The research out there on net behavior suggests the net makes people angrier. An article just posted on The Bigot thread suggest that angry people see the world as much more threatening, are prone to snap judgments, and thus likely to make prejudiced/bigoted decisions to save time. Not hard to connect the dots on that one. IMO- of course
