Don,

I agree 100% with your analysis of Gus's, ahem, so-called "contribution" here.

As many of us who consider ourselves serious 9/11 skeptics have moved along from all the crazy speculative head-scratching we did in the aftermath of one of of most puzzling events to ever occur.

It is simply enough to note that, among other anomalies, NORAD failed to follow standard operation procedure, and has been involved in a cover-up of that fact ever since 9/11.

Blue ribbon commissions have been formed almost immediately after every national catastrophe, yet, astonishingly, Dick Cheney specifically and personally (and for a time persuasively) asked Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle to not form a blue ribbon commission in the aftermath of 9/11. Only the efforts of families of the victims of 9/11 prompted the government to avoid sweeping the whole incident under a rug.

The fact that the Kean Commission is utterly disregarding the request from the family steering committee, dated 1/26/04, for answers to nearly twenty pages of intelligent, cogent, pertinent questions about the events surrounding 9/11 is a huge red flag.

The idle and goofy speculations that Gus is amusing himself with here put him in the either the twinkie category, or in the malicious prankster category.

Either interpretation ought to give Gus pause from further polluting this thread with nonsensical ramblings.

As to the term "New World Order", this was a term used in one of George Herbert Walker Bush's more memorable speeches as President. I don't know the originations of the expression, but I do know that he used it in a very specific way, as the Bush's do, conflating rhetoric about the mission of the U.S. to spread "freedom and liberty" with good old-fashioned corporate corruption and sleaze being greased by the major institutions such as the WTO, IMF, World Bank, Ex-Im Bank, NAFTA, etc. which are designed to enslave the planet for the sake of a small handful of corporate elitists.
